Overview 

Day 1: Pick Up from your Arusha accommodation and transfer to Tarangire National Park. Spend all day game driving in the park - exploring the incredible wildlife and fauna. Tarangire is famous for its towering baobab trees and large population of elephants. Enjoy a delicious hot picnic lunch in the park with a selection of beverages and before sunset transfer to your accommodation for the evening in the park.

Day 2: After an early breakfast your will depart Tarangire park and start the long transfer to the Serengeti. Along the way capture spectacular views of the villages, the great Rift Valley, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater. Stop for a delicious picnic lunch at the park gate before spending the remainder of the day game driving.

Accommodation: Heritage Camp Central

Day 3: Enjoy a morning game drive in Central Serengeti before transferring across the vast savannah to the Northern Region of the Serengeti. The location of the 'Great Migration' at this time. Witness thousands of wildebeest and zebra as they gather on the banks of the Mara river - as pressure builds finally one takes the plunge across and a mass of others follow.

Day 4: Spend the next day as you wish - game drive all day with a picnic lunch, or return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation with wildlife viewing right from your private veranda. The decision is yours and the perk of having your own private guide!

Day 5: After breakfast have a final game drive in the Northern Serengeti before transferring back to the Central Region. Spend the rest of the day game driving in Central Serengeti before retiring to your accommodations for the evening.

Day 6: After breakfast have a final game drive in the Central Serengeti before transferring back to Ngorongoro Highlands. Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch at the Nabi gate before the long transfer to the Ngorongoro Crater. Spend the night on the crater rim at a cosy lodge tucked away in the forest.

Day 7: Start your morning with an early breakfast so that you can descent into the crater at sunrise. Capturing incredible views as you descending 620m to the crater floor. The Ngorongoro crater is the largest intact caldera in the world and home to many animals including: elephants, wildebeest, lions and endangered black rhino. Spend the entire morning game driving - stopping for a snack and coffee mid morning by a hippo pool. After the game drive ascent the crater rim for lunch and transfer back to Arusha.
